AHIA was founded in 1995 in San Antonio, Texas by Joe Chetwood. Since then we have provided quality insurance-related sales and service to agents and clients.

AHIA not only services Texas, but has expanded to forty-one states. Although we assist clients of all ages, our focus and passion is to provide compassionate care to those over 65, based on old fashioned values of loyalty, decency and trust.

AHIA represents reputable carriers. Our agents are not takers; they practice with integrity and embrace compliance. We stress this year-round in weekly agent trainings. But our success goes way beyond compliance. "It's About Family!" It is found in a staff and agent team that share with one another and our client family; how we make our community a better place, how we stimulate a positive attitude, how we encourage people to grow, and support those in need.
